Mr. Charles Redfearn has been selected as the Long Middle School Teacher of the Year for 2017!

Karen E. Sharper Ellerbe has been named the new principal of Long Middle School.
Ellerbe is a native of Cheraw and a graduate of Cheraw High School

George Coker Furr from Long Middle School attended the SC Business Processionals of Americas Leadership Conference in Rock Hill. George Coker also competed in a prepared speech competition.

Both the Warriors Softball and Baseball teams secured victories against Wallace on Monday night.

Ms. Tonya Gordon and Mrs. Becky McCoy have been chosen for the December and January faculty members of the month at LMS

LMS Students who turned in forms will have the opportunity to visit various worksites to learn more about a career they are interested in.

The Ms. Warrior pageant scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled.

Title I Family night will be held at Long Middle School on Thursday February the 2nd from 5:30 - 7:30. The school faculty will demonstrate to the community the new exciting and innovative approaches to teaching and learning taking place at Long Middle School.

2nd Nine weeks report cards are being issued today. Teachers will be available for conferences Thursday January 26th from 3:15 until 6:15

Long Middle School will host the first Academic Challenge match of the season on January 5th at 5:30 PM vs. Hartsville.
