I have been employed with Chesterfield County Schools for 23 years. I have been teaching for 21 years at Long Middle School. I am IC3 Digital Literacy Level 2 certified. I currently teach Intro to Computers Applications (6th), Intermediate Computer Applications (7th) and Fundamentals of Computing (8th). My motto on education is best stated by Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world".

Welcome to the world of STEM! I'm Mr. Miller, and I believe that passion is the best teacher. My own love for technology, coding, and robotics is what inspired me to become an educator. I hold degrees in Business Administration and Educational Technology, which helps me bring a unique, real-world perspective to the classroom. When I'm not here teaching you how to build or program, you can find me at home with my two daughters, Kennedy and Jamison, and my wife, who happens to be Mrs. Miller, the 7th-grade math teacher! This is my 12th year in the classroom and I'm excited to embark on this journey of learning new tech skills with you this semester.

My name is Twanica Harrington (Pearl) and I am dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and behavioral growth of all students. I have seven years of experience at AMIkids Sandhills as a Behavioral Specialist. Prior to that, I spent four years at Darlington Middle School as a Teacher Assistant in Special Education (EMD).

For the past three years, I have served as the SS Reading Lab Manager/Teacher at Long Middle School. In this role, I provide targeted literacy instruction, implement data-driven interventions, and work closely with students to strengthen their reading skills and overall academic confidence.

I hold an Associate of Science in Early Childhood and remain committed to fostering positive learning experiences, promoting student growth, and helping every child reach their full potential.
