  • Mr. Ainsworth is in his 26th year of teaching (18 years in district).  He is originally from Cheraw, where he graduated from Cheraw High School in 1995.  He has a bachelors degree in Music Education from the University of South Carolina and a Masters Degree in Education Administration and Leadership from the University of Phoenix.  Mr. Ainsworth began his teaching career in Lake City, SC where he taught 8 years.  Mr. Ainsworth is married to his wife, Aleisha.  Mr. Ainsworth has two sons, Nathan and Ethan.  Nathan is a senior this year at Cheraw High School and loves working with young kids and playing golf.  Ethan is an eighth graders at Long Middle School.  Ethan enjoys music and anything to do with air planes.  The Ainsworth family attends and serves faithfully at Cheraw First Baptist Church.

  • Mrs. Stewart has taught for 14 years between both South Carolina and previously in Pennsylvania. She is certified in visual art, Spanish, and ESOL. Additionally, she has her certifications for Gifted and Talented Education as well as STEAM. 

    Mrs. Stewart is the certification and grant coordinator for the Arts in Basic Curriculum program.

    My name is Ni’ya Whitfield. I am a native of Bennettsville, South Carolina. I am a graduate of Marlboro County High School (2018) and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in the music industry from Francis Marion University (2022). I have served as a music educator for three years, teaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

     

    My commitment to education stems from a passion for fostering children's growth and creativity. I find great fulfillment in my role, as it allows me to contribute to a positive learning environment. I am dedicated to creating a supportive atmosphere where students can thrive.
