Substitute Appreciation Day was November 18th. The purpose of this day is to highlight the role and importance of substitute teachers by providing information about, advocating for, and helping to increase appreciation and respect for these unique and significant professionals. Here at Long and across the world, when regular teachers are absent, substitute teachers step in to keep the learning process moving. They are a vital part of this school and many others.
