Red Ribbon Week During the week of October 20th, students participated in Red Ribbon Activity. Homerooms decorated doors to the theme of Your future is key; so stay drug free. Mrs. Coleman, Ms. Baker and Ms. Oakley's homerooms won the door contest.
Flu Shots A note from our nurse:The health department will be at LMS in the coming weeks to give flu shots to students whose parents give consent to have them. A letter containing information about how to sign up for the shot along with the cost will be sent home with your child this week. If you are interested in your child receiving the shot, please complete the online consent form by going to the website and using the validation code noted in the letter. If you are unable to complete the consent form online, you can contact the school nurse for a paper copy. All consents must be completed by October 30th. Thank you for all you do at school and home to keep our students healthy and ready to learn.

Field Day: Tuesday, May 30th All fees must be paid in order to participate. Students may dress down for LMS Field Day. However, they must follow the dress down criteria.
7th graders take a Mayor for a Day Tour Several of our LMS 7th graders were able to tour the town with Cheraw Mayor Andy Ingram. What a great way to learn about our town and local government.
Band Concert The LMS Spring Band Concert was amazing. Please join us in celebrating all of our band students and their hard work.
