I am looking forward to working with you and your child this semester. I will be teaching Intro to Computer Applications, Intermediate Computer Applications, and Intro to Multimedia. Sixth grades students will learn typing skills using touch typing, Google Suite Applications, Microsoft Office 365 Applications, basic computer applications, coding, and soft skills. Seventh grade students will learn Google Suite Applications, Microsoft Office 365 Applications as well as coding and soft skills. Eighth grade students will learn various multimedia skills, Google Suite Applications, Microsoft Office 365 Applications, coding, and soft skills.
The use of the Google Suite for Education and Microsoft Office 365 represent an very important step towards developing a modern learning approach. These tools support high levels of communication, collaboration and creativity while preparing students for the skills needed college and the workforce.
