Title I Family night will be held at Long Middle School on Thursday February the 2nd from 5:30 - 6:30. The school faculty will demonstrate to the community the new exciting and innovative approaches to teaching and learning taking place at Long Middle School.
Each grade level and content area will present an activity they have done with their students in an effort to try and relate to the community how they are approaching learning in the 21st century to make it more relevant to our students as they move on through school and into life.
Title I is an initiative of the ESLA act, that provides funding to decrease the gap felt by schools in low income areas as compared to areas where more funding can flow into schools. A family night is a way for the community to see how their monies are being used to better education for the students.
