5th Annual 5K Race

The fourth annual Warrior's Challenge 5k Run/Walk took place September 10th, beginning and ending at Arrowhead Park, with 25 participants racing through adjacent neighborhoods in Cheraw.
The men's winner was Scott Eddins and women's winner was Cheraw High Senior Emily Pearson. Jessica Mason, Long Middle School Athletic Director, said she thanks all of the participants, parents, coaches and cheerleaders who worked at the events, providing encouragement and water for the runners. She said she also especially thanks the sponsors of the race.
The fundraiser benefited Long Middle School cheerleading program to provide equipment and travel expenses.
