World Physical Therapy Day

Posted Date: 09/08/26 (10:52 AM)

Today we join communities around the world in celebrating World Physical Therapy Day and recognizing the dedicated professionals who help individuals move, grow, participate, and thrive.
In our schools, physical therapists play an important role in helping students access their educational environment as safely and independently as possible. Through movement, mobility support, adaptive strategies, collaboration, and encouragement, they help remove barriers so students can participate more fully in school and reach their individual goals.
Today, we extend a special thank you to our district’s physical therapy professionals for the knowledge, patience, compassion, and care they bring to their work each day. Their impact reaches far beyond movement. It helps build confidence, independence, and opportunities for our students.
Happy World Physical Therapy Day!
Please join us in celebrating and thanking our physical therapy professionals for all they do to support the students at Chesterfield County School District.
Stronger movement. Greater independence. Brighter possibilities.
