The Long Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Band students traveled to Loris High School to participate in the annual SCBDA statewide Concert Performance Assessment.  The band, under the direction of Mr. Richard Ainsworth, received a Superior Rating with Distinction.  The band received a Superior Rating from all four judges in their stage performance and sight-reading.  This is the second consecutive year receiving this award for the LMS Band.
