Mrs. Miller's Classroom
My name is Mrs. Crystal Miller, and I'll be your child's sixth-grade math teacher. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Coker College December 2001 and my Master's in Instructional Accommodation from Francis Marion University in August 2005. I really enjoy teaching and interacting with children. I'm married to Julius Miller (who also teaches at Long Middle School), and we have two daughters a 10-year-old and a 12-year-old - Jamison and Kennedy. As a family, we love having a great time together. We love hanging out with family, attending church, and going on road trips. Julius is passionate about technology, and I enjoy reading a great book. This year I will teach three ninety minute blocks of math. In math, your child will have a workbook. Most homework and classwork will be assigned from this workbook. They will need to keep their workbook in a 1 1/2" binder. Keeping the workbook in the binder will help it stay in good condition and make it easier for students to remember. Papers needing your attention can be placed in the back of the binder. I will largely stay in contact with you via Remind for all important notifications. I look forward to a wonderful year with your child.
