Description
In the 8th grade art class, we will be exploring the Elements of Art, Principles of Design, and different media. Art history, art appreciation, and art critique will also be included. The class will also have a Google Classroom that students will be completing work in. Please make sure that students are logged into the Google Classroom. We will be using the Google Classroom for regular classroom activities as well as the primary mode of instruction if a student goes on quarantine. 
 
There is a $5.00 activity fee to take the course.

Requested supplies for the class include: 
  • Colored Pencils
  • Pencils
  • Folder
Students will also be using the following items frequently. Students may bring their own version if they choose to and will not be required to use school supplied versions: 
  • Glue sticks
  • Erasers

The Art Career Exploration assignment is found in Google Classroom with the slideshow we reviewed before the assignment. Students were given class time to complete the assignment and may have it done already. 
Any assignment turned in blank will result in a zero and cannot be made up.
